Cuban artist Rogelio López Marín (Gory) was born in Havana, Cuba and he lives and works in Miami, FL. Considered a key figure of Photorealism in Cuban art of the end of the 70s, López Marín began his photographic career when he renounced painting after the “Volumen Uno” exhibition in 1981. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the National School of Art in Havana and a Master of Art History from the University of Havana.
